The South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) has revealed that two of its officials will represent the country in this year’s 33rd Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cameroon.
The two are Victor Lawrence (Secretary-General of the South Sudan Football Association) and Oliver Nemaya (SSFA Head of ICT).

However, it did not specify when the two officials would depart, but it appears the duo will depart sooner rather than later as AFCON is scheduled to begin on Sunday, January 9, 2022.
After being postponed last summer, AFCON will now finally kick-off in the Cameroonian capital, Yaoundé.
All the countries that will take part in the competition have already arrived in Cameroon and are waiting for the kick-off date.

Below are the full AFCON 2022 groups:
Hosts Cameroon are drawn against Burkina Faso, the Cape Verde Islands, and Ethiopia in Group A. Guinea, Malawi, Senegal, and Zimbabwe were pitted against each other in Group B. Comoros Island, Gabon, Ghana, and Morocco are in Group D, Egypt, Guinea Bissau, Nigeria, and Sudan in Group E, and Gambia, Mali, Mauritania, and Tunisia in Group F.
The AFCON 2022 group stage officially kicks off on Sunday.
Cameroon vs. Burkina Faso will be at 4 p.m. GMT on September 9, 2022, followed by Ethiopia vs. Cape Verde at 7 p.m. GMT.
On Monday, January 10, 2022, four games will be played.
At exactly 1 pm, Senegal locks horns with Zimbabwean side warriors, and at 4 pm, there will be Guinea vs Malawi, Morocco vs Ghana, and Comoros vs Gabon end the day at 7 pm.
On Tuesday, January 11, 2022, three games are on board.
Algeria will face Sierra Leone at 1 p.m., Nigeria will face Egypt at 4 p.m., and Sudan will face Guinea-Bissau at 7 p.m.
On Wednesday, January 12, 2022.
Tunisia vs. Mali: 1:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m. winds of the day: Mauritania vs. the Gambia and Equatorial Guinea vs. Ivory Coast (7 p.m.).
On Thursday, January 13, 2022,
At 7 pm, Cameroon vs Ethiopia, and at 7 pm, Cape Verde vs Burkina Faso.

At 1 pm, Senegal takes on Guinea; at 4 pm, Malawi vs Zimbabwe; Morocco vs Comoros; and at 7 pm, Gabon vs Ghana.

Burkina Faso plays Ethiopia at 4 p.m., and Cape Verde plays Cameroon.
