Inter have broken the dominance of Juventus that ran for nine consecutive seasons. The Old Lady had kept the cup in Turin under the tutelage of Antonio Conte—who now coaches Inter—Massimiliano Allegri, and lately Mauricio Sarri who was replaced by Andrea Pirlo.

But when Conte shifted to Inter, tables turned as the former Chelsea coach led the San Siro giants to the 19^th league title.

They have 82 points playing 34 games and winning 25 of them. Second-placed AC Milan have 69 points. Inter’s crowing as the league’s champions had delayed after they won 2-0 against Crotone. Atalanta was to win against Sassuolo to complicate the math and delay their process but the match ended 1-1 draw.
