The South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) has confirmed that they have reached an agreement with a kit producing company based in Macron City of Bologna (Italy) to have the firm supply the South Sudan national team with football jerseys.
Joseph Apai, the deputy Secretary-General for the South Sudan Football Association (SSFA), said the Italian-based Macron Sports Company agreed to provide football equipment to South Sudan’s national team.
“Macron Sports Company will supply the South Sudan Football Association with all the national team materials for the players, technical team and officials,” Mr Apai revealed.
According to the SSFA deputy secretary-general, the company will also provide replica jerseys of the national team to be accessible to football lovers across the country.
The agreement was signed by South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) president Gen. Augustino Maduot Parek and the Secretary-General, Victor Lawrence Lual, and the top Macron Sports Company leadership in Italy on Monday.
However, Mr Apai did not reveal when the company would start supplying the South Sudan national team with football kits, only that it was expected.
He said the agreement would last for years and be subject to renewal.
