President Salva Kiir Mayardit on Wednesday led high profile government leaders in a meeting with visiting Deputy Chairperson of Sudan Transitional Sovereign Council Mohamed Hamdan Dagallo.
Addressing the media, Mr Dagallo lauded the formation of the Revitalised Transitional Legislative Assembly and the Council of State as a positive step towards the implementation of the Revitalised Peace Agreement.
The president was accompanied by the Presidential Advisor on Security Affairs Tut Gatluak Manime and the Minister of Presidential Affairs Dr Barnaba Marial Benjamin. Dagallo urged the parties to fast-track necessary arrangements to graduate the unified forces.

The president also met an Egyptian delegation led by the Egyptian minister of rade and industry Dr Nivein Jamae. Present in the meeting was South Sudan minister of investment Dr. Dhieu Mathok.
Speaking to the press after the meeting, Mr Jamae appreciated the government of South Sudan for giving Egypt a chance to hold the Egyptian trade exhibition in Juba adding the aim is to deepen the relationship between Cairo and Juba.
Meanwhile, the president accredited four ambassadors from different nations who paid a visit to the president’s office on Wednesday. They include Jelte Van Wieran of the Kingdom of Netherlands, Abdulhakim Abdilah Omar of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Maj. Gen. Samuel Nandwa of Republic of Kenya and Ibim Nkem Charles of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The Minister of Presidential Affairs Dr. Barnaba Marial Benjamin and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Beatrice Khamisa Wani attended the event.
