Leicester City shocked Manchester United with a 3-1 thumping at the quarterfinal of the FA Cup at King Power Stadium on Monday.
The Red Devils went into the game hoping to win it and proceed to the semifinal in Wembley next month. But it was not their day.
Former Man City star Kelechi Iheanacho opened the scoresheet for the Foxes before Mason Greenwood levelled things up leading to the end of the first half. The FA Cup draw took place during half time as Chelsea, who beat Sheffield United by two goals to nil, landed the league leaders Manchester City in what promises to be a tough fixture in the tournament this season.
Southampton then drew the winner between the Red Devils and the Foxes. Man United failed to capitalize on their chances to land what seemed to be a weaker opponent. Youri Tielemans scored to spring the hosts to the lead before Iheanacho wrapped it up with another goal in the 77th minute to secure victory book a tie against the Saints next month.
