Uefa did the quarterfinal champions league draw on Friday, March 19, for the 2020/2021 season. The quarterfinals feature three English teams, a Spanish team, a Portuguese team; two German teams and a French team. No Italian team qualified for this stage after the remaining team, Juventus, were bundled out by Porto.

In the fixtures, English Premier League leaders Manchester City will play against the German side Borussia Dortmund with the first leg slotted for Etihad before proceeding to Signal Iduna Park.

The Blues are currently high-flying and had enjoyed winning streak before Manchester United broke their unbeaten run with a 2-0 win in the EPL. Dortmund on the other side possesses the young talents in Erling Haaland, Sancho and many others.

Chelsea, an English side with young talents as well, will face Portuguese giants in Porto, with the first match expected in Estadio Do Dragao before a return leg at Stamford Bridge.

The third fixture lists a mouth-watering clash pitting German side Bayern Munich and French giants PSG. This is seen to be a possible rematch of last year’s final which the Bavarians lifted thanks to a solitary goal by Kingsley Coman. The match will be played at Allianz Arena before a return leg in Parc des Princes.

Spanish giants Real Madrid will also host Liverpool at Santiago Bernabeu before squaring off at Anfield. These two teams also met in the past two seasons when Liverpool lost 3-1 to Real Madrid.

The winners between Man City and Dortmund will play the winners between Bayern and PSG, while the winner between Porto and Chelsea will play either Liverpool or Real Madrid in the semifinals.

Elsewhere, Granada will play Manchester United in the Europa League final as Arsenal plays Slavia Prague. Roma will play Ajax as Dinamo Zagreb plays Villareal.
