[Sponsored content] Trinity Energy Limited will now only accept contactless payments by way of mobile money transactions at its newly acquired outlet on Hai Referendum Road as it seeks to limit physical contact to curb the spread of COVID-19. Bilpam Road petrol station will have upgraded facilities to accept both cash and mobile money payments.

Trinity has also announced a 20SSP discount for customers who fuel at Hai Referendum Petrol Station and a 10SSP discount for those who fuel at Bilpam Road with M-Gurush.

“Due to the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in South Sudan, Trinity Energy has enhanced its COVID-19 response protocols and preparedness to protect the health and safety of its customers and staff as a prime objective,” Trinity Energy’s CEO Robert Mdeza said.

The company said in an address to the press that these measures are meant to support and compliment the new government orders made recently to the public to stop the further spread of the novel coronavirus that causes COVID-19.

He said the opening of new station on Hai Referendum Road will help the company reach even more clients in its expansion efforts.

“We will be reaching out to more people in Juba and offering quality affordable fuel solutions to power South Sudan businesses and households. We look forward to serving residents much faster and more efficiently as we increase our retail networks countrywide while enriching the customer experience through world-class innovations,” he said.

Bilpam Road Station will be accepting cashless payments as well as cash, while the petrol station on Hai Referendum Road will only be accepting payments via M-Gurush as the company targets the use of other contactless payment platforms such as Nile Pay, commercial bank debit cards, among others.

The two stations are part of a pilot programme by Trinity Energy to move all stations to contactless payments. This will not only support COVID-19 response protocols but also ensure customers are served efficiently and long queues experienced at the stations are minimised in the long-term. The move will also enrich the customer experience for clients as they fuel conveniently and with comfort.
