West Ham blew a commanding 3-0 lead they had earned before the half-time whistle against Arsenal in an entertaining London Derby on Sunday evening.

The Hammers who have enjoyed good results under David Moyes approached the match with bravery and accuracy in execution which saw them destined to pull a victory by large margin till everything changed due to individual errors.

Manchester United winger Jessie Lingard, who joined the Hammers on loan, opened scoring board with a fantastic finish in 15th minute before Jarrod Bowen doubled the lead two minutes later. Tomas Soucek then scored a third in the 32nd minute making victory imminent for the visitors.

But Soucek was later haunted with individual mistake, when he handed the Gunners an own goal in the 38th minute, making him the villain of the game after scoring one.

Arsenal came from the half-time break but hit an hour without registering a goal till West Ham defender Craig Dawson blasted his own net with another own goal lifting Arsenal back into the game. Alexandre Lacazette then scored in the 82nd minute to level scores for the Gunners and rescue a point.

Arsenal moved to ninth on the log above 10th-placed Aston Villa who have a game in hand. West Ham are fifth and two points below fourth-placed Chelsea.
