El Meriekh will be hosting Kator in the South Sudan premier league this afternoon.
El Meriekh boss, Richard Justin, will be looking for ways of bouncing back to winning following their loss to Jamus. Coach Nicolas Peter will as well be seeking to stick to his promise of delivering the first tittle for Loveras.
If coach Nicolas’ promise is anything to go by, Kator must put up a classic show than they did against Koriom in their last encounter, which ended in a 0-0 stalemate.
The abysmal performance from El Meriekh defense against Jamus punctured Richard Justin’s philosophy since arriving at the club, taking over from coach Ramsy Lumori. The injury crisis at the club has also added pain to the already fresh wound.
Chol Peter and Alsane Koulibali will be assessed ahead of Kator visit.
The Kator faithful witnessed yet another home draw against Koriom (0-0), dropping them to second with inferior goal difference of 18 to Jamus’ 19.
Playing the entire game without their two experienced players in the names of Chol Peter and Alsane Koulibali available to them, could explain why El Meriekh was beaten by Jamus.
A litmus test will be set for Kator, as the club is just one of the two teams not beaten in the league.
Kator will hope to use this game not only to put them in good footing, but also to prepare them well and build for them confidence going forward.
With league ambition building up for Kator, Nicola Peter must put it right in this league now as the club seek to be the first to win the South Sudan inaugural premier competition, setting up a glamours stage and honour on its name.
