Former coach Ramzi says they will now take legal action after all their attempts to address the issue were ignored.

The former El Meriekh Bentiu technical team led by Ramzi Sebit, are demanding for their four months arrears from the club.

According to coach Ramzi, they had demanded for the payment of the arrears, but the club has since not complied or showed willingness to settle the payment.

The coaching team stated that they have been patient, and had given the former employers time to address their issue but it has all been in vain.

He also revealed that they had wanted to meet the club’s board to conclude the issue amicably, but the management has been dodging them.

Speaking to The City Review Sports Desk, Ramzi said they will now take a legal step after all their attempts at the issue were ignored.

“We are still friendly to them, but this is our right. We don’t want much from them other than our pending dues,” he stated.

The former coaching team blamed some individuals in the management for not complying for their demands. “There are people inside the management that are acting unprofessional. This includes the secretary, down. But the Club’s President is a good man,” he stated.

Meanwhile, the coaching team, which was relieved from their duties by the club, said they cannot sign any contract with a new club since they still have a running contract with the club, which has to be terminated officially by a lawyer.

“We are still respecting our contract, until when we terminate through a lawyer, that is when we will be able to sign a contract with a new club,” he said.

Contacted by The City Review Sports Desk, the club’s management admitted that they have not finalized the arrears of the axed technical team.

According to the club, they only owe their former employees two months arrears, owed before they left the club, and not the four months claimed by the technical team.
