Central Equatoria State Governor, Augustino Jadalla, has urged the Muslim communities to draw inspiration from the spirit of Eid and strengthen unity that bonds people.

In his Eid Al-Adha Message on Friday, Jadalla reminded the Muslims to continue helping the poor and share with the needy, which are core principles of Islamic religion.

The Governor congratulated Muslims, stating that the occasion should entrench the values of faith, sacrifice, and unity.

“On behalf of the Government and people of Central Equatoria State, I extend warm greetings and heartfelt congratulations to all Muslim brothers and sisters across our State, South Sudan and the world on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha,” the Governor stated.

“This sacred festival reminds us of the values of faith, sacrifice, compassion, and unity. It is a time to reflect on Prophet Ibrahim’s obedience and devotion to the Almighty, a timeless lesson in humility and trust in divine will. As families and communities come together to share in prayers and charity, let us also renew our collective commitment to peace, harmony, and mutual respect,” Jadalla said.

“At a time when our State is working to consolidate durable peace, unity, and stability, I urge all citizens to draw inspiration from the spirit of Eid to strengthen our bonds as one people. Let us extend a helping hand to the vulnerable, share with the needy, and pray for continued progress and healing in our land,” the governor emphasized, adding: “May this Eid bring joy, prosperity, and renewed hope to every home,”
