The South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) has allocated US$ 20,000 for the 2021/2022 South Sudan Cup winners.
The chairperson of the SSFA organising committee, Wiyual Lampuoch, revealed this during the draw of the South Sudan Cup 2021/2022 in Juba on Monday.
“We have come to the draw of the 2021/2022 South Sudan Cup edition. All the preparations have been made, and this year’s competition is going to be an interesting one.”
“What I wanted to add is that the SSFA, through its president, has approved $ 20,000 for the winners, which is a good initiative from the country’s federation,” Lampuoch stated.
Meanwhile, the runners-up will go away with $7,000 and $3,000 for third and $1000 fourth positions respectively.
Mr Lampuoch encouraged the clubs to work hard to win the SSFA US $20,000 for their team, an amount he described as something that could motivate the whole team.
