JUBA – The Ugandan first Airbus A330neo will be landing at Juba International Airport today at 3 pm Central African Time for the first time from the inception of its operation between the Juba-Entebbe airway.

The airline that has full comfort with 20 full–flat, business–class, and 28 premium-economy seats as well as 210 economy class seats totaling 258 seats, will start its routine traveling from Juba to Entebbe on the same day after it lands in Juba.

Speaking to City Review, Uganda Airline Country Manager for South Sudan, Moses Kisembo, said that the coming of the airline came as it was promised by the company last year that Juba would have a chance to get another plane to hasten business between the two sister countries.

“The Airline will be operating [through] the Juba-Entebbe airway. We have promised to be delivering the best and it will be the first commercial flight between these two sister countries,” he said.

“We appreciate those who contributed to the success of this Airbus but because of the COVID-19, our plans to reach other new destinations that we have promised to reach before has not materialized,” he added.

The new aircraft, according to the Uganda Airline, could still fly to other destinations like Dubai and London from October 2022.
