As transfers get busy, reports from Yambio Local Football Association indicate that the Western Equatoria State South Sudan 2021 Cup winners, Yambio Stars FC, broke the bank on Cobra FC’s versatile defender Thomas Zaizai in a four-year deal.
According to the information obtained by The City Review, the Yambio giants spent a huge fee of around SSP 90,000, which is the first of its kind in club history.

He becomes the first defender in the Yambio Local Football Association to be signed with such a fee record.
Zaizai, 27, plays naturally as a right-back but can also slot in as a left-back. He formerly played for Juan AL-Hilal FC Juba before moving back to Yambio, where he started his footballing career and joined Al-Weidah FC.
His arrival at Yambio Star FC is a big boost for head coach, Daniel Futuru, whose side will be representing Yambio in the upcoming South Sudan National Competition Cup next year in Juba.
“I am happy to join such an amazing club. It has been my dream to join Yambio Stars FC, and now my dream has come true. I look forward to doing my level best to help the club,” the new Yambio Stars defender said after signing the deal.

According to information acquired by The City Review sports desk, Ganiko has crossed from the Third Division side Kuzee United to the First Division side Nile City on a one-year loan deal.
Ganniko is also right back, but sometimes he plays a central midfield role.
Elsewhere in the ongoing Juba Local Football Association (JLFA) transfer window, Kator has secured the services of John Kiir Gai for an undisclosed fee.
First division league giants Kator FC continue their spending binge after releasing some of their best players.

Still, in JLFA, Atlabara FC Juba has secured the services of U-20 South Sudan National Team Midfielder Wijo Taban, and Center Back Godfrey AKOL after releasing more than 10 players in this transfer window.
Akol is not new to the Juba Local League. He featured for Munuki FC Juba and played for snakes in some ranks of matches. He was, however, forced out for a lengthy period due to injury, according to TK Sports.
