Young Star and Bentiu city game ended in a 2-2 stalemate on Monday afternoon at the Juba National Stadium.
Bentiu city have gotten their first point in as many as four games when they locked horns against Young Star in the thrilling encounter.
It turned out to be a challenging afternoon when the club conceded in the 6th minute through James Joseph’s opener.
Young Star added the second of the evening as he was let lose by the struggling defense of the Bentiu city, as Odoko Nyero added his name into the scoring chat by doubling Young Stars lead to make it 2-0 as Bentiu tailed some minutes into first half.
However, Gatang Machieng brought hope to Bentiu city as he pulled one back on the 7th minute, making it 2-1 before the first half ended.
The Bentiu city supporters cheered their team when Tet James made it 2-2 in the 58th minute. From the verge of defeat to salvaging a point for the team that lost as many games as 4 in a row.
The draw took them to eight points as they maintained ninth position.
This is the performance the former coach wanted, and stressed that the team has to play, noting that the league is a different one that requires experienced players.
In an interview with The City Review, the coach said there are so many things that needs to be addressed, from the management to the technical team.
