Amarat United FC has confirmed the signing of striker, Agumemboki Felix Abishai, “Fox” from Mukongo United FC of Yambio on a two-year deal.
The striker is expected to bolster the attacking options of his new club as they prepare to represent Juba Local Football Association in the upcoming South Sudan National Cup.
Felix had a good run at Mukongo United FC in the first round of Yambio Local Football Association first division league 2020/2021 season, where he finished as top scorer with seven goals.
He was also the top scorer in the just concluded inaugural Yambio Local Football Association Christmas tournament 2021 with three goals. He played for ‘‘team Biko’’ and they were the eventual champions.
He has won a number of trophies with Nkumba University, 5 Stars Club Entebbe, Entebbe Navigators among others. He has always emerged as the top scorer in numerous competitions.
Felix expressed his delight at joining Amarat United FC and indicated that he is ready for the task ahead of the club.
“I am glad to have completed this move, I am grateful to everyone who made this happen but most importantly, I want to reiterate that I am here to help the club achieve its dream of winning more trophies. I chose Amarat United FC because my vision for the future is proportional to the project the club is putting up,” Felix said.
The joy-to-watch striker joins Amarat United FC having spent seven years at Mukongo United FC, Yambio.
During his stay with the “challengers”, Felix massively impressed with his industrious offensive ability and skills, thereby provoking interest from Amarat United FC in Juba.
Felix further spoke about his readiness to learn from experienced players at the club like Biko James Bage and others whose fundamental role in him settling at the club will be paramount
