Malak Ayuen, the paramount chief of Bor County appreciated the County Commissioner for making Goi a Boma in Kolnyang Payam

The commissioner of Bor County, James Ghai Makhor on Saturday, inaugurated a new Boma in Bor county of Jonglei state. The launching of Goi Boma of Kolnyang Payam of Bor County was conducted at the Goi Boma headquarters.

Speaking at the event, Malak Ayuen, the paramount chief of Bor County appreciated the County Commissioner for making Goi a Boma in Kolnyang Payam.

“It is an appreciation to the leadership of Bor County for making history. It has not been easy to make this happen in many years but you have understood us and created Goi Boma,” said Malaak.

Malaak called for continued peace among the people of Kolnyang payam, especially Goi Boma.

“You [Goi Boma] have to continue living in harmony so that the government gives us its continuous support as it has given you a new boma today,” he said.

On his part, James Ghai Makhor, the Commissioner of Bor County, urged the people of Goi Boma to respect each other for their unity.

“This message is going out there to you the leaders of Kolnyang Payam. If you have any problem as the chiefs of Kolnyang Payam and I still exist in this position, I will not accept that. I will, instead make changes and get those who will make the community peacefully,” Makhor said.

Commissioner Makhor assured the residents of Bor County to give all the legal rights they deserve.

“If there is anything that you need as the citizens of Bor County, I will be ready to give them their rights and if there are others that are not happy, I request you to forgive and continue living in peace,” he added.
