The office of the Governor of Northern Bhar el Ghazal State (NBGS) and the Secretariat General Council of Ministers has relieved the State Coordinator in Juba Coordination Office, Mr. James Deng Lual Akok and appointed Mr. James Majok Dut as his replacement.

According to a statement from the Governor’s office, the new Coordinator assumes office from Thursday, July 24, 2025.

“Therefore, the Coordination office is to be handed over to the incoming Coordinator Mr. James Majok Dut to run the office duties as spelt out above,” the statement noted.

State Office Coordinators in Juba play a vital role in facilitating communication, coordination, and program implementation between state-level offices and the national or headquarters level in Juba. 

They act as a crucial link, ensuring that activities and strategies are aligned, resources are effectively managed, and information flows smoothly. 

Among the key responsibilities include: program support and oversight, staff supervision and development, monitoring and development, resource management, technical support and training, representation and advocacy among others.
