A sheep in New Site residential area in Juba on Thursday gave birth to conjoined twin lambs with one resembling a sheep and the other bearing a semblance of a human face.

Speaking to The City Review on Thursday in Juba, Peter Lado Wani, the owner of the sheep, said he was shocked to witness such a bizarre thing for the first time in his life.

“My sheep gave birth to a mysterious lamb at 8 a.m. today. The sheep gave birth to a lamb with eight legs, four ears, one chest, and two heads; one of the heads resembles a sheep, while the other head has a human being shape. It is difficult for one to recognise whether it is a male or female sheep,” Wani narrated.

“I am shocked to see such a thing happening to my animals. I do not know why it happened; only God can tell what it means. I have heard of such things but I have not seen anything especially happening to me directly,” Wani added.

“But when such things happen, one in every two is either good or bad luck; sometimes it is a sign of peace or war for the country, but for me, I don’t know; only God knows,” he stressed.

According to Wani, the lamb could not be breastfed since it has two mouths and only one month left to be used for feeding itself.
