The country’s COVID-19 death toll has jumped to 104 after another patient succumbed to the virus on Thursday.
Three other patients are in severe condition in the Infectious Disease Unit [IDU] where they are receiving treatments.
According the statistics released on Thursday by the ministry of health, the country’s caseload scaled up by 129 cases in the past 24 hours.
The case distribution by locations was as follows: 159 samples from the public health laboratories produced 10 cases, Torit had one case in 14 tests done, Mapuordit one case, Med Blue tested 524 and confirmed 97, Queen Medical Complex 252 tests which produced 17 cases and Nojum also confirmed 34 cases.
UNMISS also recorded three cases and Agok had two cases in 20 tests done.
The total tested samples were 1,008 which produced 129 cases.
The cumulative number of the confirmed cases in the country now is 9,334.
The ministry of health advices the public to report any COVID-19 suspected cases by calling 6666.
