Adangor says that a group of women was travelling from Lurdook village to Dholaam village when they were ambushed, beaten up, and their children taken away.

He said the women were going to collect food in the town centre and when the criminals attacked them near Dholaam.

GPAA information minister says this is the third incident in a month involving criminal attacks on unarmed civilians.

“The first one was on the 18th of December when people were actually approaching Christmas celebrations; about 26 herds of cattle were from Utalo. On December 22nd, there was an attack in the area of Pajwala, where they attacked the person who was taking care of cattle and in the process, they killed one person and injured two people, but they did not manage to take the cattle,” he revealed.
