Central Equatoria State Governor Emmanuel Adil Wani (pictured) has formed a 12-member committee to oversee the cleaning campaign in the country’s capital Juba.

Wani issued a gubernatorial order on Monday, March 8, forming the Committee to Oversee Massive Cleaning Campaign in Juba City to work with the guidance of local government laws.

The committee will be tasked with ensuring cleaniless of the Juba County Council effective from the date of its constitution. In specific, the order states that they are to ensure that garbage and the garbage fees are duly collected and all the three blocks in the city are clean.

They are also to ensure tidiness of various premises housing various NGOs and are to brief the governor from time to time.
