At least one soldier belonging to the South Sudan People’s Defence Forces (SSPDF) was killed in Ruweng administrative areas.

According to the authorities, the attack has been carried out by suspected armed cattle keepers from Unity State.

Simon Chol,  the Minister of Information in Ruweng Administrative Area said the assailants killed the officer on Sunday while he was fishing in Yaar of Parieng.

“No one has been arrested among those youth,” Chol said.
