Western Bahr el Ghazal State Governor Sarah Cleto has directed the leadership of Wau municipality to improve service delivery in the town.

“There have been a lot of things waiting for you and us as a government to deliver in our city (Wau). All the people in this municipality have been waiting for you. If you give good services, people will trust you, ” she said.
Cleto added: “Those who are in the IDPs need to return home and live normal lives. We have so many children who have missed school for so many years. We need them to catch up with education, and the schools in Wau are functioning well. “
According to Governor Cleto, everyone needs to have a good healthcare system in the state so that people will be treated well.

“But all of these things are not going to happen unless we work together. There is a lot we need to achieve in our municipality to enable us as a government to give service to people.
“We need to put the interests of our people first, work in unity and unify our ideas, and humanise our activities. “
Cleto said her government may not prosper if they continue with hatred, referring to last year’s crisis among the leaders in the state.
However, she said the working atmosphere with the deputy mayor has improved.
“We are working together as children of Wau,” she said.
